Music’s unanswered questions

Posted on May 7, 2011

Lyricists throughout time have felt the need to throw questions at us in musical form, most seem never to have been answered.

Using the ‘Wisdom of Crowds’ let us discuss and answer some of these ponderables.

Are we human, or are we dancers? The Killers

I’m not sure these are mutually exclusive states of being, some are both, many are human, many more are neither and none are solely dancers.

Who let the dogs out?Baha Men

No-one seems to know, but we should all keep a look out to make sure none of these animals come to harm. Perhaps put up some posters around town with a picture of them on.

Why do only fools and horses work?Only Fools and Horses theme

Rodney, you plonker!

Sweet dreams are made of these, who am I to disagree?Eurythmics

Everyone is allowed their opinion, don’t beat yourself up about it.

Can I play with Madness?Iron Maiden

I haven’t heard of a new album release by Madness for years now, although I do suspect that they are still touring. Either way you’re going to have to ask them yourself.

Why, why, why Delilah?Tom Jones

Why not Tom? The question we’re all asking is: why are you still trying to get into the charts? Pull up a chair, have a sit down with a cup of tea and stay put for a while.

Whooo are you?The Who

Douglas. No need to feel embarrassed, we haven’t met before.

And the list goes on…

There are plenty more questions where they came from. Please add your own thoughts to the comments box.

Had enough of music? How about some tips on Manhood?
